The Autonomous Task Recovery Architect

Build a visual workflow designer for applications that need to recover gracefully when automated tasks fail midway through execution.

Let users define workflow steps, dependencies, retry limits, timeouts, checkpoints, external side effects, compensation actions, and human approval requirements.

Simulate failures such as network interruptions, malformed responses, expired credentials, duplicate events, unavailable services, and partial completion. Show which steps can safely retry, which require reconciliation, and which cannot be reversed automatically.

Generate a recovery plan for each failure scenario, including idempotency requirements, saved execution state, alert conditions, and escalation paths.

Include a deterministic mock runtime, execution timeline, fault injection controls, and exportable workflow definitions.

Never assume that repeating a failed action is safe. Require explicit recovery policies for consequential operations, place limits on retries, and clearly separate simulated behavior from guarantees about real integrations.
