The Business Continuity Game Room

Build an interactive crisis simulation platform that helps small businesses rehearse realistic operational disruptions before they happen.

Users configure their business model, critical processes, key employees, vendors, systems, cash reserves, customer commitments, and recovery procedures. The platform then runs branching scenarios such as a payment processor outage, sudden staff shortage, data loss, supplier failure, social media backlash, or temporary loss of premises.

Introduce events progressively based on the decisions users make. Track cash impact, service interruptions, unresolved dependencies, customer consequences, and recovery time. Allow multiple participants to choose actions independently, then reveal where their decisions conflict or depend on missing information.

At the end of each exercise, generate a structured after-action report covering decision quality, weak assumptions, missing procedures, recovery bottlenecks, and prioritized improvements.

Include scenario templates, a custom scenario editor, facilitator mode, and repeatable scoring criteria. Clearly label simulated outcomes as estimates, allow users to pause or replay scenarios, and never present the simulation as a guarantee of real-world performance.
