The Customer Promise Ledger

Build a customer promise tracking system that captures every commitment made by a business to a customer, regardless of whether it appears in a support ticket, sales email, meeting note, chat transcript, or project update.

Each promise should have a customer, owner, exact commitment, source reference, due date, current status, business impact, and proof of completion. Detect promises that have no owner, conflicting deadlines, repeated delays, vague wording, or no evidence of delivery.

Create a timeline showing what the business promised versus what it actually delivered. Add reminders, escalation rules, customer-specific history, and a dashboard for overdue commitments.

Users must be able to approve AI-extracted promises before they enter the official ledger. Preserve links to original evidence, support manual corrections, and maintain an audit trail. Include CSV import/export and integrations through configurable connectors or webhooks. Never send customer communications automatically without explicit authorization.
