Build an application that helps users recover value from abandoned projects instead of repeatedly starting over or leaving unfinished work scattered across different tools.
Allow users to import project lists, notes, task exports, repositories, documents, and personal reflections. For each abandoned project, reconstruct its original goal, completed work, remaining tasks, dependencies, blockers, estimated restart effort, and reason for abandonment using the available evidence.
Identify reusable code, research, designs, templates, relationships, and lessons that could benefit current projects. Group projects into revive, repurpose, archive, or permanently close categories, but let users make the final decision.
Create a restart plan that begins with a small, verifiable milestone rather than recreating the entire original roadmap. Estimate the effort required to recover context and flag missing credentials, obsolete dependencies, expired assumptions, or external services that may no longer exist.
Track recovered assets and decisions so future projects can reuse them. Never treat the number of unfinished projects as a measure of personal failure. Export a searchable project archive and a prioritized recovery plan.
