Build an interactive spreadsheet analysis application that lets users understand how a single cell change can propagate through an entire workbook.
Allow users to upload an Excel workbook and inspect formulas, named ranges, cross-sheet references, lookup dependencies, and calculated outputs. Construct a dependency graph connecting input cells to intermediate calculations and final results.
When a user changes an input, highlight every affected cell and explain the calculation path. Add a time-machine interface that compares the original workbook with hypothetical edits, showing which outputs changed, by how much, and through which formulas.
Detect circular references, broken formulas, hardcoded values inside formula-heavy regions, inconsistent formulas across rows, and outputs that depend on hidden assumptions.
Include before-and-after comparisons, scenario snapshots, an audit report, and exportable findings. Preserve the original file, distinguish calculated results from unsupported formula evaluations, and never silently overwrite workbook contents.
