The UI Copy Localization Stress Tester

Create an interactive localization testing workbench that helps product teams discover interface problems before releasing an application in multiple languages.

Let users import interface strings, screen dimensions, supported languages, character limits, and product terminology rules.

Build:

  • A translation-length simulator showing how text expansion or contraction affects interface components.

  • A visual preview of buttons, navigation menus, dialogs, forms, and notifications.

  • A detector for clipped text, overflow, inconsistent terminology, and untranslated strings.

  • A right-to-left layout preview for supported languages.

  • A glossary consistency checker.

  • A placeholder and variable integrity validator.

  • A contextual review queue for strings that need human attention.

  • A localization readiness report by language and screen.

Use configurable text-expansion estimates when actual translations are unavailable. Never label estimated overflow as a verified rendering defect. Preserve interpolation variables and formatting tokens, and distinguish machine-generated translation suggestions from human-approved translations. Include a sample interface with deliberately difficult strings and a responsive preview.
