The AI Conversation Handoff Compiler

Build a tool that converts a long AI conversation into a structured handoff package that another AI model, teammate, or automation can continue without repeatedly reconstructing the entire history.

Users can paste a conversation or upload supported text transcripts.

The application must extract:

  1. Objective: What the user is trying to achieve and what success looks like.

  2. Confirmed Decisions: Choices explicitly made and constraints that must be preserved.

  3. Open Questions: Unresolved issues and missing information.

  4. Current State: Completed work, work in progress, blockers, and next actions.

  5. Evidence and Sources: Important factual claims, source references, and verification status.

  6. Rejected Approaches: Options already considered and why they were rejected, when documented.

  7. Continuation Instructions: A concise, actionable brief for the next model or person.

Let users inspect, edit, merge, and remove extracted items before generating the handoff.

Provide compact, standard, and detailed handoff formats, plus JSON and Markdown exports. Include a consistency checker that flags contradictory decisions and separates explicit facts from model-generated inferences.

Never invent past decisions, imply that an unverified claim is confirmed, or include sensitive material by default. Preserve important constraints even when compressing the conversation, and let users preview the exact handoff before copying it.
