Build an interactive research planning tool that helps product teams select customer feedback samples without relying exclusively on the loudest or most active users.
Allow users to import feedback records containing customer segment, product usage, acquisition channel, issue category, date, satisfaction score, and optional free-text comments.
The tool should:
Show how the available feedback differs from the overall customer population, when population totals are provided.
Identify underrepresented segments and categories with very little evidence.
Design stratified samples using configurable segment proportions and sample sizes.
Compare simple random, stratified, and recency-weighted sampling approaches.
Explain the risks of overrepresenting frequent reporters or highly active customers.
Track sampling decisions, inclusion probabilities where applicable, exclusions, and researcher notes.
Flag duplicate submissions and suspiciously repetitive records for review.
Generate a research brief with unresolved questions and evidence limitations.
Include a visual sample composition chart, filters, a reproducible sampling seed, and exportable sample lists.
Do not claim that a sample is representative merely because it is balanced on selected fields. Distinguish observed patterns from population-level conclusions, preserve the original records, and document any weighting assumptions.
