The Interface Copy Stress Tester

Create a tool that tests interface text against real product situations rather than simply rewriting it to sound more polished.

Allow designers to enter button labels, error messages, onboarding instructions, empty states, payment explanations, confirmation dialogs, and form hints. Provide context about the user, task, consequence of failure, and surrounding interface.

Evaluate each message for clarity, ambiguity, reading complexity, actionability, tone consistency, accessibility, and potential misunderstanding. Generate alternative versions for different user expertise levels and high-stress or low-attention situations.

Create simulated scenarios in which a user interprets the message, then expose possible misreadings and missing information. Clearly label simulated interpretations as hypotheses, not actual user research.

Include a side-by-side comparison, terminology consistency checker, reusable product glossary, and approval workflow. Where appropriate, generate test variants with a primary success metric and guardrail metrics. Export approved copy as JSON, CSV, or localization-ready strings.
